Sunday, March 9, 2008: Annual Mandatory Coach’s Banquet

           Place:  Archangel Michael Coptic Orthodox Church
                       4405 Edinger Ave., Santa Ana CA 92708

           Time:  2:00pm downstairs in the Basement

Guidelines for Meeting:

1. MANDATORY MEETING

a)      All Coaches/Assistant Coaches are required to be present at the Banquet if they wish to Coach for their Church for the Summer 2008 Basketball Season.

b)    There will be no more Late Registration for Basketball Teams, if you miss the deadline of March 9, 2008, your team will not be considered to participate in the 2008 Basketball Season.

c)    There will be no accommodations for any team this year unless a death or funeral occurs.  If you are unable to make a certain game, The Coptic League will not accommodate or reschedule the game unless under certain emergency event occurs (i.e., vacations, weddings, birthdays, parties, distance will no longer be accommodated).

d)     The only excuse allowed for missing this meeting is if a funeral or a death in the family has occurred.

e)      If you skip the meeting for any other reasons, you must inform The Coptic League by e-mailing the webmaster@thecopticleague.org and must show proof of why you will not be present or wasn’t present at the Banquet.

f)       No players will be allowed to Head Coach a team in The Coptic League, but may be an Assistant Coach.  If you play for any of the Divisions, you cannot Coach any Division from your Church or any other Church. 

2. Registration of Church Team

a)      All Coaches are required to bring the $800.00 League Fee on the day of the meeting. NO PERSONAL CHECKS will be accepted, only Church Issued Checks and/or Cashiers Checks.

b)     All Coaches and Assistant Coaches must have the “Approval Contract” signed by their Church Priest with them in order to be considered a registered Coach for The Coptic League.
