Wednesday, August 5, 2009:
Final day to register for the junior high girls and boys
tournament, please have your coach email the league at
basketball@lacopts.org noting your team name, coach’s
first and last name, email address, and phone number, and
whether it is a boys or girls team.
Saturday, May 30, 2009:
First day of games for the summer of 2009 basketball
league.
Monday, May 18th, 2009:
Coaches must reply to an email sent in regards to
clearing each player.
Tuesday, May 6, 2009:
First day for player’s late registration. Please follow
the late registration process by clicking on the
registration button at the top of site. Two weeks of games
Tuesday,
May 5, 2009:
Final day for player’s free online registration. If a
player does not do the online registration, then they must
register as a late player and will be charged a late fee.

FINAL day to register your team plus submit late fees.

Monday, March 2, 2009:
Player’s free online registration begins. Please see
league website for more information at
www.thecopticleague.org . You are not considered
registered until you get a confirmation email; therefore
your email address must be valid.
Sunday, February 22, 2009:
1. Mandatory coach and assistant coach’s banquet. This
is also the final day to register to participate in the
summer of 2009 basketball league. By this date your church
should have submitted their coach’s name(s), phone number(s)
and email addresses and should attend the coach’s banquet.
Please note that by attending the meeting you are
representing a team that will be accounted for in the league
unless the league is told otherwise by the end of this day.
This further means that your team will be responsible for
all fees and deadlines if you do not withdraw before the end
of this day. Therefore, please check with your parish church
priest before registering a team. This year the banquet will
be held at Saint George’s Church in Bellflower from 2pm to
3:30pm.
2. $800.00 league fee per team which will cover the
league expenses must be submitted at the banquet for a team
to be considered valid. After this date, late league fees
will be assessed a $50.00 late fee penalty in addition to
the normal $800.00 league fee for each week that passes.
Absolute FINAL day to register your team late will be April
1st 2009.
Make checks payable to “The Coptic League” and late payments
could be mailed to: The Coptic League PO Box 2786 Orange,
CA. 92859. with team colors.

Please RSVP for the mandatory coach and assistant
coach’s banquet no later than this date. Please email
webmaster@thecopticleague.org to reserve a spot. Please remember
that you must attend this banquet to be a valid coach.
